General & Area Plans

A community’s long-range plan for sustainable growth must be based on a shared vision including core values, civic identity, and urban character, along with policies and implementation strategies that provide a flexible framework to guide growth and change in response to unfolding demographic trends and economic opportunities. Our citywide and large area plans are built on an open, inclusive and richly illustrated public engagement process, and are focused on defining strategies for long-term, economic, fiscal, environmental, social and political sustainability.  We help lead multidisciplinary teams including regional planners, demographers, economists, transportation planners, and environmental planners to craft implementation oriented plans focused on delivering healthy and sustainable outcomes for current and future generations.
