Public Realm/Complete Streets

We often say that your town is the spaces between all the buildings.  In many communities those spaces have been designed primarily to accommodate traffic and parking and to reduced maintenance costs to the bare minimum.  It is no surprise then that these spaces are often not very comfortable or safe for pedestrians and bicyclists, or attractive to visitors and shoppers and investors.  One of our firm’s greatest strengths is the reimagining of these spaces and preparing transformational but practical plans, with new standards for systematically remaking the public realm in coordination with private sector reinvestment both builds and draws value from the “readdressed” properties.
