Neighborhood and Town Design

The neighborhood is the fundamental increment of every city, town and village, and neighborhood design is at the core of our practice.  We design neighborhoods of every type and scale, from high intensity transit-oriented urban neighborhoods, to walkable neighborhoods for towns and cities, to lower density semi-rural neighborhoods integrated with their natural surroundings. We work with communities and master developers to prepare vision plans, zoning standards and design guidelines to preserve the character of existing neighborhoods, shape change in neighborhoods in transition, and establish new neighborhoods in greenfield, brownfield and greyfield contexts.
